India VIP Red Lights Gone but Abuse of Power continues...

India VIP red lights are on the way out, but the letter of the law is what has changed. The AFTER part of the above picture shows how a high constitutional dignitary moved about in Chennai, attendant with the usual inconvenience to fellow citizens, after the removal of the red beacon from the official vehicle.

Who cares for the spirit of the law, when the letter of the law can be followed as a tokenism.

Hope the PM can take further steps to stop abuse of power, privilege and entitlement of the political class.
